Roofing Manufacturers
Start with the system. The name on the membrane tells you who made it; the layers tell you how to repair it. In Wichita Falls, TX we identify the roof first, write down what it is made of, then repair or replace to match it.

More About Roofing Manufacturers
The systems we work on
We install, repair and maintain commercial systems from GAF, Carlisle SynTec, Johns Manville, Holcim Elevate, Sika Sarnafil, Versico, Soprema and Duro-Last. The systems range across single-ply, modified bitumen, built-up and liquid-applied types, and the type matters more than the label.
Step one: identify the roof
A core sample or a lifted seam shows the membrane, attachment and layers underneath. A heat-welded single-ply, a hot-applied bitumen roof and a liquid-applied coating each take a different repair. Matching the repair to the system keeps it from failing at the patch edge. The identification also tells us how many layers are on the roof, which decides whether a recover is even possible.
Heat and hail
Seams and sealants take the strain through roughly 28 days a year at 100 degrees. Hail is the other test, and the April 1991 storm that hit Iowa Park and Burkburnett with baseball-size stones is the reason we check for a hail bruise after any severe report. Color and brand do not change that check.
Installation and care
Single-ply needs clean, dry surfaces and well-formed seams. Bitumen needs ply adhesion and good wall flashing. Metal needs clips and fasteners checked. Coatings need surface preparation above all. We follow the maker's published instructions and photograph each step.
Repairs follow the same rule. A patch on single-ply needs the right clean surface and compatible material; a patch on bitumen needs heat and ply adhesion; a coating repair needs a dry base. One clean rule covers them all: use what the roof is made of. A mismatch looks fine on the day and fails in the first hot season, so the identification step is never skipped.
Records and warranties
Many roofs carry warranty paper, and many lose track of it. The paper lists conditions: who may repair, what must be reported and how fast. We read it before we touch the roof and write down what we did, so the file stays consistent. If the paper is lost, the report still lists the system, the age if known and the repairs done. What it means for you is that the next owner, lender or adjuster gets a straight story about the roof.
Commercial Roofing Questions
Does the maker decide the repair?
The system type does. Materials from different makers can share a type.
Can two systems share one roof?
Yes, when sections were replaced at different times.
How are warranty terms handled?
We read the conditions first and keep records so the paperwork stays consistent and nobody has to guess later who did what.
What if I cannot tell what the roof is?
A core sample identifies it, and the report lists the layers.
Tell us what is on the roof
Send photos and any paperwork. We will identify the system and explain the repair.
